  1. To be rather than seem

Make mountain means overcoming difficulties. It is educational, increases self-confidence, but should not lead even sense of superiority. Climbers are not a privileged elite but simple human beings who have to their family and to society the same duties as non-climbers. Mountaineering should not lose its character as healthy activity of free hours. In addition, life imposes large and incomparably more important than the practice of sport tasks.

Boasting, the noise is made around the figures, the pursuit of sensationalism and speculation, are detrimental to mountain sports in the same way as most of the other activities. The man capable, good friend you can trust, not distinguished by the swagger but by reservation. In it, the truth is natural according to Zipcodesexplorer.

  1. See, observe, learn

All true understanding is a consequence of the way we see and grasp. This requires interest, effort and experience. Whoever looks around without being aware of what surrounds him, merely superficially discover the most essential things; It understands and learns little bit. Can for example consider the mountain vegetation under the aspect of its green strewn with multicolored spots, rocks under his gray and nuanced appearance and mountainous surroundings like a crown of peaks anonymous, without being thereby insensitive to its beauty.

But the experience will be much richer and more enduring if fully aware of it taken and understood although not more than in its most visible aspects. Under any aspect that this will be much more interesting if their characteristics and origin are known. The one who has some knowledge about the varieties of rocks and plants, animals and their habits, which may say something about the inhabitants of a mountainous region and its history and culture, no doubt a much richer experience satisfaction . If you know the mountains around you – their names might evoke in you life experiences, memories and hopes – will live more intensely the largest and heady experience of mountaineering.

  1. Prepare

The success of a mountain test depends on their preparation. The preconditions are: technical skill, training, fitness and acclimatization, as well as adequate equipment. To these we must also add the ability to judge the conditions of development and time. Get ready for the test physically, spiritually and psychologically mountain. Familiarize yourselfwith their characteristics and their particular conditions ( it is very important to set the route and schedule, annotate in case of difficult climbs, the more tiring and eventually steps, places of detention or bivouac, the particularly dangerous areas, the chances of retreat or decline). Never forget communicate your objective and the planned route to your next of kin, guardian of the refuge (possibly the book of shelter) or your friends.

  1. Do what we can

This means two things:

  1. a) We do not want toreserve, butgo to the limit of our possibilities. A healthy ambition is a positive element. The satisfaction that gives us the accomplished action, the value of the action itself, gives the true measure. Witness the exploits of a good mountaineer, deft and sure provides pleasure.
  2. b) Do not exaggerate. The capacity is the measure of what is permitted us, that is, if the physical and psychological conditions are bad, if the physical form on that day is us successful, we must stay down. The folly not only endangers the person so acting and his companions, but also often those who go to their aid. You can not assume this responsibility or to himself, or to parents or third parties for this cause harm.Take time. This maxim applies both before the test as far as possible during the same. What not to do this year, it can be done later.
  3. Economize artificial means
