Which often hangs in shops Ikea or informs with paper catalogs online knows that for some time the low cost brand launched Lattjo, a collection designed to allow adults and children to play together. The collection also includes costumes for disguise and empathize with other people.Today we learn that one of these costumes was withdrawn from the market: do not buy and do the children wear the cloak bat!

Here’s what it says on the Ikea website, in the section dedicated to products withdrawn from the market:

“IKEA is recalling from the market all the bat-suit coats LATTJO, after receiving some reports of three children themselves through scratches and abrasions on the neck while playing. The kids had a hard time loosing the mantle and take it off.”

The brand then adds:

“IKEA has received no communications of injuries which required medical attention, but decided to withdraw the product as a precautionary measure to avoid the risk of neck injuries.”

On a purely precautionary, Ikea has decided to withdraw from the market the product, sold in all stores from November 2015. If you have already bought, do not worry, the brand will reimburse, here’s how:

“Customers can return the costume cloak bat LATTJO at any IKEA store. To receive your refund is not requested a receipt. For more information please contact Customer Service on 800 92 46 46, from 9 am to 20, Monday to Saturday.”
